Bush Articles of Impeachment to be Voted on by the US House of Representatives Today

President Bush my yet get all the love he deserves from the government he has so effectively co-opted for his own purposes. Today the US House of Representatives votes on on sending articles of impeachment against President Bush to the Judiciary Committee. The 35 articles introduced by Dennis J. Kucinich, D-Ohio, on Monday are pressuring the Democratic Party to make good on a promise many of them made before the 2006 elections: to impeach!

While I feel it is unlikely that the essentially spineless Democratic House of Representatives will actually pass the measure, one can hope for a minor miracle. It would be tragic to see Bush finish out his disastrous second term and walk away from the mess he’s left for the next President as well as future generations to clean up.

In my humble opinion, the image below sums it all up:impeach_bush.jpg
